These are a delicious vegetable side dish my family loves.
Here is how we make them:
Cut the baby carrots into quarters.
Heat coconut oil in large skillet. Add carrots and fry for 6-8 min.
Carrots will begin to brown and shrivel as they cook.
Remove from skillet when carrots are soft and cooked all the way through. Place on paper towel to absorb extra grease.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper and enjoy!
Carrot French Fries
- coconut oil
- baby carrots, quatered
- sea salt
In a large skillet, heat coconut oil over medium to medium-high heat. Add carrot quarters and fry for 6-8 minutes or until carrots start to crisp and turn brown, turning them often in hot oil. Remove the carrots from the oil with a slotted spoon, and sprinkle them with a little sea salt and pepper before serving.
